Colourpop Cosmetics

Finally made my decision to order some Colourpop cosmetics. As many would have heard, known or tried their makeup. Their products prices ranged from USD $5- $8. Unfortunately the shopping cost to Australia is a killer!

Nonetheless I went ahead to place my order and to my surprise, it’s arrived within a week it so.

I’m so happy with my order and think they’ll be part of my collection. I have to order more after I’ve seen how beautifully pigmented and long lasting. The texture feel is divine even for the sparkling ones, don’t really have that gritty feel to them. In all, I fell in love with their products!

Enough of saying, here are some pics and swatches done:-

Nars Narsissist Dual Intensity eyeshadow palette

I’m sure by now a lot of you would have known or heard about the Nars Narsissist dual intensity eyeshadow palette. Last week I went to Mecca cosmetics store and I saw this palette. It’s been awhile since I wanted to get it so I was really excited when I saw it in store! Hence I got it!! $105 is pricey but then again if I’m gonna get from ebay, the US currency is high so ended up I probably have to pay more from there. Oh well!

Anyways just wanna share some pics and swatches with you. I have done both dry (left) and wet (right) for your reference.

Essence cosmetics

Hello, today I went to Priceline and saw these new items from Essence and had to get them! They’re just so cute n gorgeous! It’s the Essence Beach Cruisers collection:-

– Beach Cruisers bronzing powder in 01-Life is a Beach. (10g – Made in Poland)

– Beach Cruisers blush in 01- I love Summer Break. (6.8g – Made in PRC)

Both priced at AUD $5.35. Such great products at an affordable price.

I can’t bear to swatch the bronzer as I dun wanna destroy the shimmer part on the palm. 😉 but below are the pics of both products and swatches on the blush. The blush is so pigmented. Only one swipe and you can see the intensity! ( taken and without flash).

I suggest you should check them out. 😉

By Terry Terrybly Rose De Rose Trio Powder Blush

I recently ordered the By Terry Terrybly Rose De Rose trio blush from SpaceNK when they had a 50% off on it. I was just randomly going through the website and saw the sale and to be honest, I still feel the price is expensive even when price was reduced to £37.50 cos I still have to add the shipping cost to it n in total costs about AUD $85 but because I have read a few reviews raved about it so I had to try it myself and I have NO REGRETs. It’s totally worth it! FYI, Mecca cosmetics do sell this blush as well but guess how much??? It’s $145!!!! Yes u heard it right! A lot of stuffs here in Australia are way more expensive than any other countries and I wonder why!

Anyways here’s the description of the product:-

– This trio of roses blush compact flatters the complexion with a customizable flush of colour. Light-reflective pigments accentuate the cheekbones to bring every skin tone to life with a healthy, natural glow. Amid a cluster of fine and luxurious, this blush is enriched with silky photo-luminescent polymers, micro-fused mineral pigments and high-definition light reflective correctors to blend into skin like  perfect veil infused with delicate scent of roses.

It contained 5g of product in a gorgeous magnetic enclosed casing and also comes with a little brush. The casing itself is solid n heavy. The blush does have a divine smell to it. If you dun like product with fragrance, you may not like this then. I think pretty much all By Terry products have this signature rose smell to them.

Here are some of the pics to share:-

Can you see that glow effect?

Chi Chi eyeshadow palette- Mattes

Another swatches to share with you – Chi Chi eyeshadow palette ( Mattes).

Feels creamy, no chalky feeling but some shades are more pigmented than others. The last shade which is the charcoal black was probably the least pigmented. 😦 Uhmm, perhaps I’ve got to try on my eye to see if it performs better.

Anyway here are the swatches:-

My first post in 2015

First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! So sorry been MIA for awhile. Lots of things happened during the last couple of months eg: moving house etc.

We are finally settling in new place so hopefully I will be able to post more stuffs.

As for now, just wanna share my collection of Chi Chi eyeshadow palettes. I’m obsessed with their palettes. Every time when they have new collection, I will have to have them. Chi Chi is an Australian Brand and they are so affordable!
